Instant Django PDF Print E-mail
ImageUsers new to Django often find installation difficult, so Nickel Cigar has created a simple standalone Django development setup that runs under Windows. It does not need to be installed, and can even be run from a USB key. The download is a self-extracting zip archive, which will be uncompressed by a double click.

InstantDjango includes Python, Django, and several utilites (svn, exemaker, ...) to make development easier. The setup is launched by double-clicking on 'start.bat', which can be found in the root of the 'Django' directory.

My prefered Python IDE

My prefered Python editor is Pyscripter from MMExperts. It is not only an editor. Pyscripter is a full Python IDE including (remote) debugging, a class browser, and all other nice helpers which a full featured IDE needs.

My prefered web framework

My prefered web framework for developing web applications is Django. Django calls itself The web framework for perfectionists with deadlines. It is a really fast, scalable and (thanks Python) the sexiest web framework of the world.
