Python 2.3.5 released PDF Print E-mail
The Python Development Team announces Python 2.3.5 (final). This is a bug-fix release for Python 2.3.

There have been around 50 bugs fixed since 2.3.4 - in the Python interpreter, the standard library and also in the build process. Python 2.3.5 supersedes the previous Python 2.3.4 release. No new features have been added in Python 2.3.5 - the 2.3 series is in bugfix-only mode. 2.3.5 contains an important security fix for SimpleXMLRPCServer. Python 2.3.5 is the last planned release in the Python 2.3 series, and is being released for those people who are stuck on Python 2.3 for some reason. Python 2.4 is a newer release, and should be preferred where possible. From here, bugfix releases will be made from the Python 2.4 branch - 2.4.1 will be the next Python release.]

My prefered Python IDE

My prefered Python editor is Pyscripter from MMExperts. It is not only an editor. Pyscripter is a full Python IDE including (remote) debugging, a class browser, and all other nice helpers which a full featured IDE needs.

Do you have a script for me ?

Do you have an interesting Python script which does some really cool thing on Windows ? Please post them to this site. It`s very simple - simply copy&paste it to this form. No login is requiered.

Hint: For syntax highlighting and correct Python intendation place your code between html tags <pre> and </pre>.

My prefered web framework

My prefered web framework for developing web applications is Django. Django calls itself The web framework for perfectionists with deadlines. It is a really fast, scalable and (thanks Python) the sexiest web framework of the world.
